Log Cabin Republicans of Dallas Code Of Conduct

Log Cabin Republicans Code of Conduct

Effective Date: April, 1 2025
Last Updated: April, 1 2025

Applies to all Log Cabin Republicans of Dallas members, event attendees, and guests

At Log Cabin Republicans of Dallas, we are proud to foster a respectful, inclusive, and forward-thinking conservative community. In order to maintain that environment, all chapter members and event attendees are expected to follow the standards outlined below. Violations may result in disciplinary action by the chapter’s board of directors.

1. Chapter Governance

All members and participants acknowledge the authority of the chapter’s Board of Directors, LCR National staff, and the LCR National Board of Directors. Participation implies agreement to comply with the chapter’s bylaws and leadership structure.

2. Alcohol & Conduct at Events

Many LCR events may include the serving of alcoholic beverages. Attendees are expected to drink responsibly and be of legal age. Disruptive or unsafe behavior resulting from intoxication may lead to disciplinary action, including verbal warnings, suspension, or removal from the chapter.

3. No Tolerance for Harassment

Harassment or unruly behavior toward any chapter member, board member, guest speaker, elected official, or LCR National staff will not be tolerated. Professional conduct is expected at all official events and any setting in which you represent the organization. Violations may result in suspension or expulsion.

4. Respect for Different Viewpoints

We value diverse perspectives and encourage open dialogue. However, attendees must engage in civil, respectful discussion—especially during Q&A sessions or political conversations. Disrespectful or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the event and/or the chapter.

5. Representation & Political Conduct

While attending events or representing LCR Dallas—whether in person or on social media—members and attendees should not publicly criticize endorsed Republican candidates or officials. Outside of official LCR capacity, individuals are free to express their personal views through their own channels.

We reserve the right to update this Code of Conduct as necessary. By attending an event, becoming a member, or otherwise engaging with Log Cabin Republicans of Dallas, you agree to abide by these expectations.
